A total of 51 participants took The BiG Q test across Panjim and Margao. There were some changes in format this time, with a couple of new sections added, and the total number of possible points reduced to 100.
For the first time in the history of the quiz, the BiG Q title will be shared. The winners, on 64 points apiece, are Rajiv D'Silva and Vidyadhar Gadgil. There will be no separate Best Open Quizzer from Panjim. The Margao Best Open Quizzer is Julian D'Costa, in third place overall with 57. Ashley D'Costa, who scored 31, is the Best Schools Quizzer from Margao; while Ari Pereira with 25 wins that title from the Panjim venue.
Prizes will be awarded during the Margao and Panjim monthlies to be held on October 25 and November 1, respectively. Winners, you are requested to try and attend.
