Quizcraft, a Delhi-based quizzing company which runs a variety of quizzes all over India, is conducting an inter-school quiz series in 32 cities for the Income Tax Department. The Quiz is open to students of classes 9 to 12 (excluding the batch that has recently appeared for the 12th std Board exams).
The Quiz will be held in Goa at the Institute Menezes Braganza, near Azad Maidan/Police Headquarters, Panjim, on Monday April 15, 2013, starting 9.30am. Students interested in participating can land up at the venue carrying some form of school ID (or in school uniform, to be safe).
It is a great opportunity for students. 2-member teams are eligible to participate, and the Goa winners will get a chance to participate in a TV Quiz Show that will be produced by NDTV shortly after. The City winners will receive Rs 10,000; plus a chance to compete for the top prizes which amount to Rs 10 lakh in cash.
The Quiz is not based on Income tax. It is based on general knowledge, with a few questions on the economy thrown in, and a select few on basic facts about income tax.
