The first quiz of the year was a hugely enjoyable affair. Annie's review will be up soon, so I'll stick to the bare results:

A couple of comments, Rajiv:

1. It would be better to fix the width of the score table, and let the height be variable, so the text is more legible.

2. Generally speaking, the norm is that, if two or more teams are tied on a certain rank, the next rank(s) is/are skipped. In this case, since two teams are tied on 3rd, the next team would be 5th (there would be no 4th). It makes no difference to the points table in this case, but could under other circumstances.

Oh, one other thing -- I think we should start identifying quizzes by their month. Keeping track of quiz numbers is going to become more and more difficult.

You're right on all counts, Annie. Only, as far as pt.1 goes, i don't know how to :(. Importing images into the blog is quite an irritating process and there seems to be no way to resize them once they're in. I was thinking of uploading the table to google docs and then posting it from there. Let's see if that works.
On the tie issue, you're right again. It had slipped my mind. I'll check back and see if I've done the same thing for earlier quizzes where the points tally would be affected.
Also, the numbers ARE getting difficult to keep track of, so we'll use the month instead. Sometimes, though (as in november last) we have had two quizzes (and none in december), but that isn't likely to occur again, I suppose.
