The Sunday Evening Quiz Club (SEQC), in association with the International Centre Goa (ICG), will be organising the 8th edition of the Incredible India Quizzes (IIQ 2017) on Independence Day, August 15th at the ICG, Dona Paula.
As always, IIQ 2017 will consist of two quizzes – the first one for Schools, which begins at 2 pm, and the second an Open quiz, which commences at 5 pm. The focus of both quizzes will be on all things Indian.
Both quizzes will be conducted by SEQC founder-members, the Schools edition by Rajiv D’Silva, and the Open edition by Aniruddha Sen Gupta.
Participation is invited in teams of two for the Schools edition and from individuals for the Open edition. Entry for both quizzes is free.
For the Schools edition, both team members must be from the same school, from any level up to Class XII. There is no restriction to the number of teams from each school.
For the Open quiz, teams of three participants will be composed on the spot, based on the points scored in the preliminary round. Participants in the Schools edition can also participate in the Open edition.
To pre-register for the Schools event, e-mail seqcgoa@gmail.com, with 'IIQ 2017 registration' in the Subject line, and the school name, plus names and contact numbers or e-mail IDs of both team members, in the body of the mail. Mails for pre-registration must be received by midnight on Sunday August 13. Teams that show up at the venue without pre-registering will be accommodated subject to availability of seating.
There is no need to pre-register for the Open quiz.
