Participation: For students up to Standard XII. In teams of two from the same school. Six teams to go through to the onstage finals.
Prizes: Trophies and cash prizes for top 3 teams; certificates for all participants

OPEN QUIZ

Time: Prelims at 5pm
Participation: Open to all, including those who participate in the Schools Quiz. Prelims to be answered solo; teams for the onstage finals will be constituted from the top 15 qualifiers.
Prizes: Trophies and cash prizes for top 3 teams

Registrations for both quizzes is now closed, but spot entries will be allowed. 

SEQC Road Trip 2014

Date: 17th August 2014
Destination: Atreya Vedic Spice Farm, Mollem. This is the same location we visited last year. In case anybody needs a reminder of how that went, check this link.
Route: Panjim-Margao-Borim-Ponda-Usgao-Mollem and back.
Pickup points: In Panjim, at the Mary Immaculate Church steps at 7.30 am. In Margao, at Mabai Hotel at 8:45 am. Vasco people can be picked up at Cortalim at 8:15 am. Anybody wants to be picked up at other places along the route, call the number below.
Cost: Rs 650/per head. This is inclusive of transport, lunch & tea. Children of the age of 11 and below will be charged at Rs 400/head, children of 5 and below are free.
QMs: We need about 10 QMs to set 12 questions each. We will not have projection equipment at our disposal, so questions will have to be of the simple text variety, but it is up to the QMs if they want to use laptops/tablets/books/props or other visual aids. Those wanting to set questions please mail rajivdsilva[at]gmail.com.
Registration: Please mail the above address to confirm your participation, mentioning how many seats and of what ages (in case there are children of 11 and below). Also mention your food preference, whether veg or non-veg. We can only accommodate 35 people, so seats will be allotted on a first come first serve basis. Call 9890141715 for any other clarifications. Registrations (and cancellations) close at midnight on the 15th of August.

Incredible India Quiz 2014 – call for registrations

The 5th edition of the Incredible India Quizzes will be held on August 15, 2014 at the International Centre Goa (ICG). As usual, there will be a School Quiz (starting 2pm, QMed by Rajiv D'Silva) and an Open Quiz (starting 5pm, QM Aniruddha 'Annie' Sen Gupta). The former is for teams of two members from the same school, for students up to Std XII. The Open prelims will be taken on a solo basis, with the top 15 qualifying for the finals, where they will be sorted into 5 teams based on their ranks in the prelims. 

Registrations are now open for both quizzes. To register, send the name(s) of participant(s) and school name, if relevant, to seqcgoa@gmail.com.
