The Goa University Women's Day Quizzes will be held on March 10, 2012. As with last year, there will be a Schools quiz (for students up to Class XII) in the morning, and an Open edition in the afternoon.
Both quizzes will be for teams of three, with the caveat that one member must be female. This criterion will be relaxed for all-boys schools during the Schools edition. Participants in the Schools edition can also take part in the Open quiz, with or without the same team composition; however, in this edition, no all-male teams will be allowed.
Entry to both quizzes is free. There will be prizes for winning teams, and for the audience too. Refreshments will be provided to all participants in the break between the two quizzes.
Pre-registration is essential for participation. To register, e-mail shaila@unigoa.ac.in, mentioning names of team members, school (if relevant) and at least one contact phone number, or call 6519294 with the same information between 10.30am and 12.00noon on any day before March 7, 2012.
