SEQC January - Content

Republic Day Cricket Match

Date: 26th January 2012
Time: 8.00 am - 12 pm
Venue: Goa University Cricket Ground, Bambolim. This is near the International Hostel.
Participation: Open to all, regardless of age, sex or physical condition.

The match will be a 20-over-a-side affair. Some refreshments will be organized, but feel free to bring your own. Also, everyone's welcome to the now traditional post-match lunch at Bambolim Beach.

The Goa Open 2012 quiz will be held on the evening of Saturday, January 28. As always, the quiz will be set at the most competitive level. Hopefully, this year too, we will see healthy participation from outstation teams.

Mind-Sweep 2012

Mind-Sweep, the inaugural edition of the Karnataka Quizzing Association’s International Solo Quizzing Championship,will be held across multiple centres in India, the United Kingdom, the United States, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Norway, and Germany.
Mind-Sweep will be held in India/Asia on the morning of  Sunday 8 January 2012 . In Goa, the event will take place at 9.30 am at the Intenational Centre Goa, Dona Paula.
The quiz will require participants to answer 200 questions–in two sessions of 60 minutes each with a 30 minute break between sessions for corrections.
The quiz is split into 10 sections of 20 questions each and is set by Dibyendu Das, Kiran Vijayakumar and Arul Mani.
