Make way for The BiG Q

The BiG Q, SEQC's annual solo written quiz is back for its 4th edition. The quiz, which endeavours to find the Best-in-Goa Quizzer, will be held this year in 3 locations across Goa, and will consist of 120 questions to be answered in 90 minutes.

Participation: Open to all. Pre-registration is essential. To register, send an email to seqcgoa@gmail.com, indicating which category you are participating from and from which centre. Registrations close at midnight on Friday September 28.
Prizes: In addition to the overall winner, prizes will be given to the best score in the Open and School (Std XII and below) categories at each venue.

Navhind Times Golden Jubilee School Quiz

The Navhind Times Golden Jubilee School quiz is a made-for-TV quiz event that will consist of 12 Taluka-level quizzes followed by 4 Zonal semi-finals and one State final. All quizzes will be telecast on Goa 365.

Oasis Lone Wolf 2012

Format: This is a solo written quiz. The quiz will consist of 120 questions, to be answered in 90 minutes. 
Venue: International Centre Goa, Dona Paula - Panaji.
Participation: Open to all. Participants must register beforehand by sending an email to seqcgoa@gmail.com. Last date for receiving registrations is 22nd September 2012 at 5.30 pm. Spot entries will be accommodated depending on availability of question papers and seating.

Quizzing with the Bombay boys

Here's the final schedule for the weekend of quizzing with the Bambaiyas:

Sat 15th, 3pm-5pm: The Glorious 50s (QM: Vibhendu Tiwari) at Paul-Kanchan's house

Sat 15th, 6pm-8pm: Sports Quiz (QM: Aniket Khasgiwale) at Annie-Anjali's house, followed by drinks and dinner

Sun 16th, 12.30pm-2.30pm: Lunch at Bambolim beach shack

Sun 16th, 2.30pm-4.30pm: The West Coast quiz (QM: Anannya Deb) at Bambolim beach shack

Sun 16th, 5pm-8pm: Open General quiz (QMs: Aditya Gadre and Shubhankar Gokhale) at ICG, Dona Paula

In addition, we'll try and see if they can do a quick quiz at NoMoZo on Sunday morning.

All quizzes are free and open to all. However, for the quizzes at people's houses on Saturday afternoon and evening, please mail anniesen01@yahoo.com about your coming (and guests that you'll be bringing), so that the hosts can make the required arrangements.
