The Sunday Evening Quiz Club (SEQC) will host its annual MusiQuiz event on February 19, starting 5pm, at the International Centre Goa (ICG) in Dona Paula. The quiz will cover all aspects of music, Indian and international. The prelims are for solo participants, with the top 12 qualifiers to be sorted into six teams of 2 each on the spot.

The quiz, conducted by the Chennai-based Quiz Foundation of India (QFI), will be held simultaneously in different cities of India. The top 5 city winners will be invited to participate in the QFI 30th anniversary quiz festival in Chennai in April-May. The quiz is for teams of three.

Besides MusiQuiz at 5pm, this Sunday (February 19) will also feature the QFI Invitational at 3pm, to be held at the International Centre Goa (ICG) in Dona Paula. This is a quiz being conducted simultaneously across many cities in India by the Quiz Foundation of India, Chennai's quiz club. The top 5 city winners will be invited to participate in QFI's 30-year anniversary bash in Chennai in April-May.

The Master, Mind It! competition, which began with 24 participants in October last year, concluded amidst fireworks on Sunday, February 5. After three rounds and 840 questions (!), here are the final results:
The SEQC February monthly will be held on Sunday, February 5, starting 4pm (note the changed timing). It will be held in two halves, one from 4pm to 5.30pm and the second from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Sandwiched in between will be the final of the Master, Mind It! competition that has been on since October last year.

Originally scheduled to be held during QuizStock, the grand finale of the Master, Mind It! competition will be sandwiched in between two halves of the SEQC monthly quiz on February 5, 2017. The four finalists battling it out will be Ajey Patil, Harsh Bhatkuly, Rajiv D'Silva and Srijit Kumar.
