The Incredible India Quizzes 2015 will be held, as they are every year, on August 15, Independence Day, at the International Centre Goa (ICG) in Dona Paula. As always, there will be two editions – one for Schools, starting at 2pm; the other Open to all, starting at 5pm.
The Quizmaster for the Schools edition this year is Harsh Bhatkuly, while Aniruddha 'Annie' Sen Gupta will be conducting the Open edition.
The Schools edition is open to students of up to Std XII, in teams of two, both members from the same institution. Those who wish to pre-register for the quiz can do so through their schools, or directly by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org before midnight on August 14, mentioning names of both the team members, and the name of the school. Teams can also register on the spot.
Participants in the Schools edition are requested to be at the venue by 1.30pm on Saturday August 15, and seated by 1.45pm. The qualification round will commence at 2pm. The top six teams from the prelims will qualify for the onstage finals.
Anyone can take part in the Open edition, including those who have participated in the Schools quiz. The prelims for the Open edition will be taken individually. The top 18 qualifiers will then be divided into six teams of three each for the onstage finals. Those wishing to pre-register for the Open edition can do so by emailing email@example.com before midnight on August 14, mentioning that you would like to participate in the Open quiz. Spot registrations will also be accepted.
